Do any of you remember the scene from MTV 's Lagoona Beach where they open at a BLINK 182 gig

all the girls in pretty dressed and then the music starts..... OMFG!!!

So for years now I have had a bucket list for absolutely everything I want to do in my life. EVERYTHING. The very top of my list is to live with my BFF Helen and second on the list is to go and see Blink 182. Now 5 years ago roughly I had tickets to go and see Blink 182 on their final tour just before they announced their split... One thing after another my family in Budapest were ill and I had to go out and work on the farm ect so I missed my chance. Whilst in Hungry i remember playing Blink 182 - All Of This on repeat.... All time favorite song ever ever by anyone.

2 Years ago Blink announced a UK tour for 2011!!!!! Amazing I bought tickets ASAP and waited 9 months patiently... They cancelled the tour.... Put it on hold for a year..... literally FML

They have since released their newest album Neighborhoods and will be touring the UK this summer so will be seeing them 17th July in Sheffield winner!

The other day the Blink 182 tickets went on sale for the Eden sessions this summer.... DIES!!! I have always wanted to attend an Eden sessions, they look so chilled out.... 6pm I was sat there 2 phones in hand I began phoning... 427 phone calls later on 2 phones in 50 minutes I was in the cue!!! I got Blink Tickets for Eden on the 8th July.... The support acts are pretty sweet also with The All American Rejects playing every show too.

This summer will be the best summer EVERRRRRRR

I really wanted Acrylics in time for Christmas but everywhere is booked up around me and so I gave it a go myself, I am very pleased with the results.... Particularly the nail polish!

I was out shopping in Meadowhall yesterday and the girl who served me in Newlook had gorgeous nails, she told me where to find this nail polish.

It is called Pink Fizz from Models Own, I picked mine up in Republics for £5

Its a gorgeous pink glitter, I only needed two coats, it is beautiful the pictures do it no justice!

Silver Lining

my tiny silver cross necklace that I wear every day..

I was watching this on e bay for some time, it was around the £10 mark..... I have a somewhat of a love affair with the peace sign and its meaning.... It soon after arrived on my door step :)

After also having a ridiculous love for all things map like I stumbled across this recently on e bay.

Give it a week or so and it arrived through the letter box.... I love unique jewelry, this is a beautiful locket.

I know that it would be fairly simple to go back to my blonde as I did this before with 10 nice and easy sb2's in 10 days and no damage.

Amazing Book Review:John Green: Looking For Alaska

Good Morning people of the world,

Today I bring you something great, the finest gift I could ever share, John Green's Looking for Alaska.

Now i stumbled across this book through my disgusting Tumblr addiction. I came across tumblr posts with this quote in them... After a quick Google I found that this was from a book, Looking for Alaska.

I ordered the book from Ebay and it arrived via snail mail ( IF YOU HAVE NOT READ THIS BOOK I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS METHOD OF PURCHASE GET OFF YOUR BUTT AND GO TO A BOOK STORE NOW!)

The book is a very philosophical coming of age adventure

about a guy named Miles ( a.k.a Pudge).

There are 5 main characters all of which have very cleverly written in depth personalities, my favorite being Alaska whose character is much a mystery but the way he creates personality for her is by describing things such as her car or her bedroom.....

The book is written by the incredible John Green of the Vlog Brothers on youtube, so written by a guy and from the perspective of a guy, its brilliant.

The book covers most things, drinking, drugs, sex, chaos, loss....

I wanted to include some pages with amazing quotes but the photos wont appear the right way around so I will include some below to give you an idea of the awesomeness that is

Hello my loverrrs

I realised I have not done an outfit of the day post in some time, so here I am...

I've had a very lazy weekend but seem to have been very busy!

I am loving leopard print at the moment!

I know it is not to everyone's taste as people keep telling me whilst I'm out and about,

however I'm noticing it creep into the high street more and more recently its brilliant.

I wanted to give a little mention to this beautiful scarf I picked up in H&M

a week or so ago, costing around£8.

Its lovely and warm, really soft and the perfect toned down ( ish) leopard print.

Many other scarfs I came across were a little cheap looking,

I think you have to be careful with fabrics.

Beauty boxes: The Unpopular Opinion

I have received a few of these boxes now, and I am never one to give a negative review and so I wont be reviewing these boxes.....

I am really not one for face creams, body creams random liners in random colors.... It is nice to receive the odd nice product surprisingly in one of these pretty boxes so you can reassure yourself ahh 'This was so worth the subscription price' but if you didn't go out and buy anything like that you never really needed it anyway?

All I will say on the subject is... I would rather go out and treat myself to a new Mac shadow, or something equally exciting and lovely for around the £12 mark than a box of random.

Maybe this is a pointless Post, it is no doubt an unpopular opinion. These boxes almost seem like just an excuse to make a video, or write a blog post.... Im not sure.

Besides the fact 'you get to try products out'

What do you think, are they actually worth it?

Paul's Boutique 'stupid' Haul ?

Hey guys, so you may have all known, I have a huge soft spot for Paul's Boutique handbags, to me they are comparable to River Island bags in price and styles..... they are a little crazy I know but for around £50-£70 there ideal.

Working in a high school I see girls all day long with crazy Paul's Boutique bags the garish zebra print ( that I secretly want!) I found in Sheffield recently this new Paul's Boutique quilted beauty its huge, ideal for me to use for work... love.....love...love.

For over a year now I have secretly longed for a specific Paul's Boutique, a very rare amazing Union Jack style handbag, much smaller than my work bag... It is beautiful.

I have seen a couple of girls with it and it has been one of those things that always got to me inside you know when you long for something so much and you know its old or sold out... you would do anything for THAT item. Whatever it is.

I saw this on E bay last week.... It had to be mine. I watched it for 7 days ARGH drove me mad. I was stupid and put a huge bid (shameful ) on the bag in the last few minutes!!!!

I ended up paying over £100 for the bag in the end... Loads of people were bidding so I feel a little bad but I would have blatantly paid more, its brand new condition... Perfect... Happy Happy Happy

Bigger boys and stolen sweethearts

I have wanted shoes like these forever! I have seen the style in newlook loads recently but the black ones in there feel really cheap, there made of a weird 'foamy' material, whilst in good old Primark recently I saw these and fell in love! They feel ridiculously comfy and look amazing. They also come in Red but I cant find them in my size boooo at £16 there a steal.

I really want the Leopard Print version currently in Newlook these will be my next purchase, after seeing Snookie wearing a similar pair then seeing them in Topshop AND THEN the lovely kelanjo finding them in newlook for only £19.99 be rude not to :) stunning shoes.

GALAXY nail tutorial!!!!!

This is a good way of using all your old nail polishes!!!

First start by painting your nails different shades of really dark colours.

Choose a mixture of bright colors you have that need using up.

You will need a white!

Now simply take a drop of nail polish and a tiny makeup sponge...

Dab the color onto the sponge....

Create Nebula shapes using one focal point of the nail as the main part and fade out, this is ridiculously easy using the small makeup sponge.

Yellow!!!

Add yellow or orange to the focal point to make it stand out!

Use other bright colors to make the center pop out.

You can go over the edges with black if your Nebulas need some definition...

By this point you will have used about 2 minutes of your time.

Easy

Add a couple of white dots ( stars) and a layer of glitter for some extra stars!!

Job done, i personally love this :) eeeeeee

1 - Professor Green!!!

I went to see Professor green with the smallest crowd ever... It was a really good night I loved it! I don't think he is the most popular but I urge you all to just listen to his album. The man is a genius. He is also touring later this year with The Rizzle Kicks... I don't know who I love more :)

( FYI: Professor Green live sounds absolutely amazing! )

2 - EDUCATION

Writing my personal statement to go back to University and ordering a shed load of recommended reading for the course. I actually cant wait to geek it up in the library until all hours arghhhh i want to go back NOW! fingers crossed i at least get an interview!!!! Good news is the person i wanted to write my reference has agreed and seems quite keen, so that's a weight of my shoulders!

3 - Jergens Naturals New Aloe Soothing Body Moisturiser.

Since using Panoxyl 10 I have needed to use a good moisturizer. This past week I have swapped my Aloe Gel for this new Jergens naturals Aloe soothing moisturizer and it has been amazing, This moisturizer leaves no oily residue on the skin it is a fuss free body moisturizer, I cannot recommend this highly enough.

hello my lovelies....

So without wasting your time explaining where I have been, I thought I would show you some things I have been doing with myself, and things I have been enjoying!!!!!

Here goes

1 - The NewLook skirt,

So this is a skirt I wanted for time but £22 sounded ridiculous for a little skirt, then I saw it in the sale for like £8... bargain!!! I was with one of my BFF's Jess who went on to tell me it was too boho so i left it. It was one of those items where I went home and thought about it all night, a week or so later I saw the skirt in Grazia.... arghhhhh!!!! To cut a long story short, I gave jess a hair cut and she loved it and turned up at my house a few days after with the skirt in hand... in my size! I love her :)

2 - I have a growing love for Grazia... It is absolutely amazing, Its a weekly glossy with a mix of high street and higher end... PERFECT!!!.

3 - I have thrown myself into Art ( I have had 6 weeks of work) .

4 - This sounds silly to write about but these are seriously the most amazing hair clips in the world!!! They look cute and now my hair is silly long its a nice easy way to put my hair up.

5 - I heart my hair :) It has grown nice and long and after 18 months it was time for a trim...

Quick tip for choosing a hair salon.

Find a hair salon that is walk in and out, this way you know they are always busy thus have ridiculous more experience cutting hair! ( I have been using Dudes for years)

ALWAYS be 100% clear and honest abut how you want your hair cut, if you come across slightly controlling almost when you first meet them chances are they will cut your hair exactly how you have asked for it, then you can be all lovely with them whilst they cut it.

The salon I go to Dudes has a little surf shack feel to it, the girls who work in there all have beautiful hair its such a calm environment, they don't try selling you every product under the sun its just go get your hair cut. Perfect.

The meaning of life.

I hope you dont mind me posting this in here:

Me and a student spend the majority of Friday afternoon discussing the meaning of life and came up with some pretty deep theories I wanted to put out there!!!... also it would be cool to hear your opinions :)

We firstly saw this image:

A fairly common image, basically a picture of electromagnetic plasma in the universe compared to the neurons in a brain cell of the human brain. Now i have seen these images floating around for some time and its in my opinion the most logical explanation to life....

(Much more realistic than a fish killing natzi man that comes with an endless supply of red wine but frowns upon people who drink it. )

Imagine that the universe is actually finite, the universe is a self contained cell that is part of a much larger unit.

If you think of our solar system, the Sun is our Nucleus, without the Sun we would be nothing.

Lets go a little bonkers for a moment and consider a memory.. 'as Ed would say'

A memory is a chemical reaction at the end of a brain cell/nerve ending.

We are simply another persona imagination, we are a cell that is part of something much greater.

Get it?

Speaking to some philosophers yesterday they had a theory that in the grand scheme of life our individual lives are merely a blink of an eye and the long time we call life is over in seconds really.... we are insignificant but we are here to live a life for as long as possible in order to 'support' a greater unit? for as long as possible.

Imagine in your brain you have billions of little universes at every nerve ending.

I believe the meaning of life is to live as long as possible and to be as clean as possible - Clean earth no pollution... no diseases... the cleaner we are the longer we live the more of a use we are.

Lastly!!! my little blogging munchkins I am sorry or being MIA I am in the process of moving my blog to a new domain, with friends reading my blog I have gone all shy so once im up and running elsewhere I will find a way of letting you all know, probably through twitter!!!

Remington Pearl Wand Review

Ok so I tend to wear my hair curly these days and wanted to try out a few different methods blah blah im here to give you a review of the Remington Pearl Wand... I went into this with very low expectations...

Firstly the only real experience I have of these wands were those stands in your local shopping centre with those model type people asking can I curl your hair please ( to which im usually like NO I ALREADY HAVE CURLY HAIR then I am in a state of paranoia.. ' did my curls fall out?' ) anyway, when I used this for the first time I felt clumsy and had no plan of how I was going to curl my hair I just went for it... A few burns later I gave up... Luckily I gave it another go the day after and I love it.

The Highest temperature setting is 210... which is amazing. it takes seconds to create curls that last for HOURS. My other method for curling my hair is using my GHD, these curls last a long time also but are more ringlet curls, the wand creates spiral curls. LOVE.

I dont usually have this many curls usually I have straight ish hair with a few curls just to look a little more beachy... its kind of addictive once I start curling I just keep going then im like wow its all done DOH... Anyway I think you all need a Pearl Wand!!! There awesome.

Here is a tiny blog post which will hopefully show you one of the coolest nail tutorials ever... Its Easyyyy-Peeeeasy

Firstly you will need to have either a newspaper or old book, some random text and cut out 10 pieces slightly bigger than your nails.

( Yes this is from a phone book, dont ask)

Next paint your nail with any colour, I went with a Nails Inc London colour... a purple greige.

and one by one soak your nails in vodka Yum!

Whilst the nail is still wet place over your piece of text and hold in place for around 30 seconds.

Apply a top coat!

Bang Tidy! Now my hands are not the prettiest but I wanted to show you anyway.

It was my birthday this past week ( 6th April) Here is what happened... eeeeee

My Best friend Helen made me this which actually made me cry when I opened it... Helen is about to leave the country on a 1 year trip to Australia we planned years ago so I am going to miss her like mad.... I kind of feel like I am missing out on my own holiday too which is weird :( double boo

My Boyfriend booked Wicked Tickets for London which was pretty lush... I was ill for the first half but I did catch Defying Gravity which was Epic :) it didnt even touch on the awesomeness of Billy Elliot though..

I found some Epic bead shop near Covent Garden which I spent like an hour inside!

My gorgeous flowers wont last too much longer so I thought I would include them too :)

Lucy In Disguise

This past weekend I visited London for the day as part of my birthday surprise, along with all my usual MUST GO places. this day I had Lucy in Disguise on the top of my list!!!

Now firstly on a weekday I would avoid Covent garden like they still have the plague around there. The place is very predictable, nothing ever changes blah blah blah but on a Saturday HELL NO!!! it was crap but it had to be done...

I have wanted to visit this new store ever since it opened and so I was crazy excited to finally find it! I am a big Lily Allen fan and so as cheesy as it sounds I had to go!

I dont know about you but when I see the stores logo the first thing that springs to mind is Lonsdale... just me? hehe.

The store is well laid out with gorgeous chandeliers, one hanging ceiling to floor this is a shopping experience... vintage VOGUE everywhere you know what i mean....

After looking around I came across a gorgeous white Moschino dress.. It was to die for but being the vintage second hand store it is... it was filthy! I don't understand why nothing seemed dry cleaned... I think this let the store down, and the amount of polyester... It was a pretty store and I am glad I visited.... I am looking forward to visiting their new store once they re locate away from Covent Garden woohoo!

WHICH DRESS SHOULD I CHOOSE?????

Helloooooo. So as my birthday is around the corner I have been looking for something special to wear in the hopes of being taken out or something along those lines... Also as you may or may not know Groupon, is having an epic deal today where you pay £9 and receive a £20 voucher for the ASOS website. I have honestly only ever used ASOS in the past for jewelry, I have a small collection of Disney Couture which I do love but it does not always last a long time... Also I have found ASOS tended to cater like most amazing places to smaller sizes... When it comes to dresses ect I love to buy the bigger size then get the dress altered so that it fits me perfectly. Im a very odd shape! :)

Anyway off track... Whilst on the awful website ( www.ASOS.com ) that seems to be in constant crash mode today I found a couple of things I will be purchasing for the 6th April... eeeeeeeeee

ASOS Skinny Metal Chain Bracelet With Peace Sign Charm which I think is a bargain at only £6, I have spent months searching for a single bracelet like this one, and will go nicely with my new peace sign tattoo for my Birthday! I only wish they had a version in Gold!!! As I know my addiction to perfume will ruin this one in no time.

On to the 'dress'...

ASOS CURVE Chiffon Top Spaghetti Strap Dress, this is only £35, I am not 100% sure, this is the kind of dress I wish I could wear, so I am going to completely say F-IT and give it a whirl, I plan on wearing with some Black Wedges eeeeeeee. What do you think?

The Best Fossil fueled day.

Since I have a 4 week break between jobs I figured I would fill my time with things I have to get done, places I have wanted to visit.... Its lovely.

Today I have been to Charmouth Which is on the South coast, to look for fossils...

Like you do.

( The inner Geographer was hyperventilating at the sight of mud flows and slumping)

Here are my 3 TOP TIPS to fossil hunting.

1 - Throw rocks really hard at other rocks. ( To break them!)

2 - Give up throwing rocks, this just gives you broken fossils. ( But warms you up sufficiently! )

3 - Walk along the shore line and the sea brings them to you.

These are some Fossils we found on our walk back up the beach to the car park, so funny as soon as we finish hours of rock bashing we just find fossil after fossil after fossil. There super tiny! Very cute.

Life Has Been Rather 'Bon'!

Hellooooo,

So recently some exciting things have been happening in my life and I though I would share.

1 - The comments on my last blog post 'What if today had been your last? Did you make it count?' have made me so happy, I was expecting some abuse for my over excited approach to life ! I love you all and am very happy to be writing this rambly blog post which I think will be quite lovely.

2 - Remember a post not so long ago full of pretty pictures including this one?

Well after 76 applications, a closing date 3 weeks before I even handed the application in, 20 interviews and 4 places.... I GOT THE JOB!!!!! I am over the moon :D I will be a Teaching assistant in an SEN department... !

Which leads me on to my third point!

3 - I can start wearing jewelry and Nail polish again! My old job robbed me of my soul in this department for a long and painful 9 months.

I am loving Collection 2000 Hot Looks nail polish in BMX bandit.

5 - The Aquarium this past week has been full of slime activities for half term which has been hectic and soooo much fun! In the craft corner we have been making Puffer Fish... Check out this cute little guy!!!

6 - Today I have been for a swim in the sea with my BFF and it was AMAZING!!! So much fun, but pretty cold... think I will wait a couple of weeks before braving that one again...

7 - Lastly My name Is Kelly Bear and I am addicted to coffee.

I have 1 wish for this coming week and that is that Radio 1 quit playing Adele so much... Or just play her old music... FAR TOO DEPRESSING... I will Save this Album for when one of my fish passes or something equally as sad, Not driving to the supermarket for my coffee.

'Kelly your too happy to work here' This is the kind of thing people used to tell me in my old job...

I just wanted to make a quick post, with no structure to explain something. People you live once, just once, I really don't understand why people get moody, what is it all for? At the end of the day life goes on.

When at work people count down the hours and moan about how time is dragging, am I the only one that gets more and more excited as time goes on? I look forward to finishing with a huge smile on my face not miserably. Whats the point?

I am the kind of person who wakes up in the morning with loads of energy to get up and go! Dancing around like a loony and super chatty, its brilliant. I am overly excited about every little thing which is a little strange I know but.... There you go. YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE.

Maybe I am careless, but I don't let things get to me very much, bills, deadlines, I take everything in my stride and always find the positive in any situation to focus on.

I think this is because I know that in my life everything has worked out 'ok' in the end. Ive had things to deal with in the past, parents divorcing, being kicked out at 14 the usual crap... Everything is 'ok' now, and if I can get through all that then I can find a way to get through anything else. Think about it. As you sit there reading this post, I am pretty sure your 'ok' :)

I can be a little crazy, in my old job I would be left to run one side of the company by myself in a little room, and people would often walk past and I would be laughing my head of, telling myself jokes... It works! I love being happy.

Surround yourself with positive people!

Go out of your way to be nice to someone every day, just smile at someone you pass in the street, chances are they will smile back :)

How does the saying to? 'A smile confuses an approaching frown?'

Brilliant! Fantastic!

Bake a cake and put a layer of jelly in the middle just because you can!

Go to the beach spare of the moment and just run straight into the sea haha! Why not?

Hello My lovelies, I recently took advantage of a boots 3 for £10 on their Umberto Giannini range and I just have to tell you about these products!

Umberto Giannini Glam Hair Backcomb in a Bottle.

Now this product on twitter, blogger has been hyped up sooooo much that I just had to try it! I believe it retails around £6.99 so is fairly cheap, I don't know why I expected miracles. ( Besides everyone telling me to) This product is Nasty, It is fairly simple to use, and applies wet, which at first was strange then once it dries you no longer have shiny roots like the rest of your hair, you have a matte looking root :s I cant explain its just strange. It feels like you have been wearing hairspray for a couple of days and not washed your hair. It does give you some lift ( kind of) but... I would rather my hair looks nice and clean.

Umberto Giannini Glam Hair Rock ' n ' Roll Extreme Hairspray.

Welcoming your £6.99 ish generic hairspray, no where near as great as Tresemme Freeze Hold. I realise this is slightly a personal opinion but these products, specifically the hair spray has such a strong toxic smell that seems to have been covered up with a nice smell therefore creating a toxic ass smell. I cant bare to spray this anymore, it makes the bedroom stink for ages! It is not worth it guys DO NOT BUY THIS!

Umberto Giannini Sleek & Chic gloss serum.

Now if product build up is your thing, then here is a serum for you. I have used hair serums since I was around 14, this by far is the worst I have tried and will revert back to my Asda £2.99 bottle, I also LOVE Tony and Guy hair serum. After using this Umberto Giannini for around a week my hair felt awful, I have never washed my hair so much to remove a serum... Takes. Days.

Sorry to write such a negative review but I keep seeing good reviews for these products pop up and I don't want you all to do what I did and go out and by them hoping for miracles.

No 7 Exquisite Curl Mascara Review

I have not reviewed a beauty product for quite a while, however this mascara deserves a little mention. I have been sent the latest offering of mascara from No 7 to try out and i kind of love it.

First Impressions - The mascara has a curved brush, something I shy away from usually as I don't like the application process being too fiddly, and I wonder how the curved brush can evenly be coated in mascara (#overthinker) HOWEVER this as you will notice below is a non heavy every day mascara which gives a lovely curl and so the wand actually making the mascara application process quicker which works really well for those early mornings!

After a rainy week of using this mascara I can tell you that the longevity of this mascara is fantastic, with no fall out during the day. I often wear heavy mascara, if you are looking for dramatic lashes I wouldn't recommend this for you, it is a completely non clumping mascara and I find it impossible to build on but for a natural look if you are like me and don't wear too much makeup, it is great.

I am a huge fan of No7 skin care during the summer and after trying this mascara i will always be looking out for new makeup products from No 7.

Currently this mascara has an introductory price of £10 and 40 boots points!!!

So get yours before the 23rd February 2011 !!!

Small post here to ask for advice really, I am looking at changing my hair into something like this...

How would you go about this at home?

Should I go brown around my already blonde hair, or should I go all brown then add in hi lights?

The main thing I worry about it the brown not being shiny. I love to have shiny hair and the last time I went brunette it was disgusting ( I am hoping I can blame the crappy hair dye)

Shine Sprays? I kind of love the Tony and Guy one.

Recommendations very welcome !

Sneak Peak: Ocean food chain project

Hello everyone,

I would just like to open this post by saying a huge SORRY for the poor quality photos! My camera has been for a flight recently and sadly now no longer works! I managed to take around 15 quality photos but my camera refused to save them....

As some of you may know I do have a love hate relationship with my sewing machine. I ALWAYS love the outcome of my work, I ALWAYS hate the process ( battle) I have with my machine to get from A to B.

Over the past couple of months I have been playing around with making pretty skirts but fancied a new challenge.... For my A level piece I created a small (ish) wall hanging, a silk painting of the ocean with colourful detailed fish ect..... With loads of bubbles which had photos of war/poverty ect in them, basically a mix match of sewing techniques to show I knew what I was doing but with a strange little theme to give my work some depth.... Great. I have decided to re make this... kind of..... but bigger, better and without the guns ha!

Here is a sneak peak of something I have been playing around with for a few weeks now, a wall hanging inspired by the classroom I help out in at the aquarium. It is huge and will represent the oceanic food chain, So far I have just started the background and seaweed.... its going to take months!

1) What is your dream job?

I am going to start this by saying something really annoying.. People! You only live once... ONCE!!!! Why do you all aspire to spend this time in one career?!!!! Mental.

My dream jobs would have to be working within an aquarium, be a Primary school teaching assistant or working within an education outdoors centre, basically working with children in an educational way with no limits, basically let the children explore their own interests and be there to help them out. ( In a non creepy way.) I am going to study medicine from 2012, I am thinking radiotherapy. and I hope to one day work with elderly people. Basically I like working with people to make other people happy.

2) What is your favourite fragrance for Winter?

Paco rabanne Ultraviolet. Yum. I have loved this fragrance since I was around 17, in the summer I love Davidoff Game. Ahhhhh I cant wait until summer.

3) How do you take your tea/coffee?

Green Tea with Ginseng, English Tea with 5 sugars, and coffee either iced latte with a shot of vanilla and only 1 espresso or I love a cup of 4 shots to get me going! I will never say no to a cafetiere or when I eat out I will opt for an espresso over any desert.

4) What is your most important beauty secret?

This may not sit well with some of you but for me, my skin is clear and I use no products on it at all. I wash my makeup of every evening with face wipes, I avoid chemicals on my face. I use the body shops microdermabrasion every other day. Bang Tidy. I am a firm believer that a healthy diet and some fresh air is all your skin needs.

5) If you had an all expenses paid vacation, where would you go?

Well life is a pain in the behind at the moment saving for my move to Australia so if someone would pay for that I would not complain.

6) If a genie popped up in your lap right now and offered you three wishes, what would you ask?

1 - To always know the right thing to do in every situation that is the most beneficial to all involved.
2 - I would wish that all oil spills were cleared and people quit fishing full stop. Clean oceans. Peace.

3 - Finally I wish all happy and nice people in the world could live more freely and have no money problems for the rest of their life.

7) If you could only have breakfast, lunch, dinner or desert foods for the rest of your life, what would you pick?

Neither I would want Tea every day at Tea time.

8) If you were Hello Kitty what colour hair bow would you wear?

I would not be Hello Kitty.

9) What is your biggest makeup pet peeve?

I am quite laid back recently, I see people around and think 'wow I wish I was as brave as you not to care what people think' rather than 'what were you thinking' . If we are referring to myself I get frustrated if my foundation wears off, I like my skin to look flawless.

10) If you could wear only one piece of jewellery for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Bracelet, I think mainly because its the largest piece of jewellery you can wear and sit and stare at it, on the other hand... An engagement ring would be lovely.

11) What one talent do you wish you had?

I wish i could push my surfing to the next level... For this I will need to grow a pair.

Have you seen the weather? Are you noticing the lighter evenings..... ( Ignore the fact today was absolutely freezing.) Summer is just around the corner and I cant wait! I love being at the beach, what the heck, I love being outside full stop I especially love summer fashion and cannot wait to see what they have on the rails in a couple of months time!

Something I have always wanted is a quirky little bowler hat... Something I can thrown on, feel comfortable in and know that it will be making a statement in one way or another. Introducing my new baby...

I Saw this hat in River Island last week and thought sod it! £19.99 was an OK price for a hat that ( fingers crossed) should last forever... Until I got to the till and found out it was actually in sale and only cost £5... Bargain! ( If you have made it this far please leave a comment saying 'Fish Fight woo!) =]

A Ring Where A Ring Used To Be

Where I live is a pretty little harbour, full of miniature houses that have been around since forever... quaint art galleries full of drift wood, yachts and the odd ice cream van. It is lovely.

There is also an AMAZING antique shop, I believe they specialise in war memorabilia but they also have a large amount of jewellery! I can easily spend an hour in this shop its amazing, I should try and get permission to post photos from the inside, its a cavern of antiques ( I know Alice would love it!)

This is one of my Christmas presents from stevieee from the antique shop, I don't like posting Christmas presents but this is so pretty I just had to! I am told it is 9ct with 10 teeny weeny diamonds around the edge.... HAPPY :)

You know when you see something and you just know you need it....

I First Saw this bag a couple or so months before Christmas in River Island but for one reason or another I never bought it.

I am going to admit there was a whole day where I was an absolute cow and actually cried about this blummin bag, I couldn't bring my self to buy it, especially around Christmas.

I was leaning towards the black version ( comfort zone?) but really wanted to be able to wear the brown, I only ever buy black bags.

The day after my bad mood ( shameful ) my Best Friend turned up at my little flat with the bag.... He is an absolute ass hole ( AKA. Legend) and I love him. He told me he walked into River Island and said he needed a bag that is £36.99 as that's all he could decipher from my crying and moaning the day before over this bag he had never actually seen it. There are no words, he will read this blog and think I am mental but I just love this bag so much!

Bureau is FINISHED!!!! before and after pics!

Hello !!! I am writing this post with a huge smile on my face! My Bureau is finished. After multiple calls from my dad begging me ''not paint the bloody thing'' being an antique.... I obviously ignored them and now it is finished. It kind of makes me less gutted to be a full time worker I absolutely love my flat now everything is coming together and it has made it all worth while. here are the before photos...

I Painted over the handles and then sanded them down a little...

After painting i sanded down the whole bureau in several places back to the wood.

I had an urge to paint my mini shoe shelves whilst I was at it eeeee. I willl be honest the living room/ dining room has all walnut furniture and the bedroom white, but the mix now in the living room works quite well. YAY.

Hello everyone, this will be a blog post with a difference. Today im going to talk to you about a charity that is not only close to me and my family, but it should be close to every single person who lives in the UK. The Royal British Legion is the UK's leading charity, providing financial, social and emotional help to those who have served or who are currently serving in the British Armed Forces.

For the past few days I have been raising money for the Poppy Appeal 2010 through my work and around my local community, on behalf of Crown Hill, Royal British Legion. I wanted to post about this to help raise awareness for a charity that can sometimes be forgotten. I myself have had family members fight in wars and my brother is also on tour.

I have spent a lot of my time recently decorating my poppies to help raise money, and it has worked surprisingly well, I wanted to offer my readers the chance to have a glittery poppy for as little as a 1p donation but I have completely sold out through work, I have made a couple more and could possibly make more if there is a demand for them.

Hello, Firstly apologies for looking so ill in the photos, I have had a headache for 2 days but really wanted to show you this scarf, I absolutely love it. I have been enjoying browsing the new autumn, winter clothes on the high street and kind of needed a new scarf. I also have a love affair with deep purple. The scarf is from H&M and it costs only £4.99, it comes in a range of gorgeous colours which you can see below that I think can work with anything. It is a loop scarf and so can be doubled over for extra warmth.

2008 My hair has just grown back from the 'pob' cut in September 07

2009 My hair fell out in April this is how much it had grown back by Halloween. Note I did not have my hair cut once, not even an uneven bob which all my friends thought was intentional.
2010, 18 months on from my hair disaster which was all my fault in the first place, my hair has grown back and is super healthy! This year I was working on Halloween here is the simple look.

I wanted to post this in December, but to hi light my excitement, November it shall be. I love Christmas and everything about the preparation eeee this is my favourite time of year. This year I will be having my very first christmas tree of my own, something that is also proving difficult to find but that is another blog post. Here I wanted to share with you a couple of decorations I have picked up, if this is anything to go by I will have a very bare Christmas tree.... I love these, I am excited to have a very miss-matchy Christmas tree. At home at both my parents homes they have very 'designer' Christmas trees with uniform decorations and this is completely not my style, I am hoping for a very homely feel. Here is one of my favorite hats from RI.... so comfy! I think RI use the best wool ever, I have washed this baby several times and it still holds its shape after a whole year!

I am having a moral dilemma, I think this counts as a moral dilemma I am not 100% but here goes.

For the pat however long I have been 'nesting' so to speak, spending my money on making my flat look and feel as lovely as possible and now I am wanting to buy myself something completely selfish.

Something that is just for me and pretty useless for the price. A watch.

A woman came into work one day, wearing this gorgeous watch, the strap was white but the face, THE FACE was to die for. I don't think it would be to every ones taste but to me it is the nicest Watch ever. I was on a mission. I have since tracked down the watch and they have the watch face on a much nicer strap, all gold plated and eeeeeeee!

Its sold out on-line everywhere! There is one I have found in a department store that I can get posted over. Why cant I bring myself to just Buying it? To be fair its £200 and I am not that materialistic usually, once in a blue moon I will get myself something really nice but arghhh I have the Devil on one shoulder telling me to Behave and I have my mini-mee on the other telling me it will look Gorgeous.

( I am not going to say which watch it is for several reasons, mainly I cant handle it if someone replies with ' oh I have that watch') hehe

For the longest time now I have been trying to find Antique pieces of furniture to make my flat look less like an Ikea showroom and more like a home, my family is very big on refurbishment and dealing in antiques! Yesterday my best friend Ed's mum and dad gave me this beauty, an old bureau. I have been looking for one of these for months but they always looked too shiny and new and I plan on a complete makeover so this is a lovely gift eeeeeee.

I am planning on making the Bureau white, with a purple 'Interior, including drawers and new handles. What d you think? Im so excited I just had to blog about it!

Winter Hat - Gul

Here is another of my favorite winter hats! This perticular hat is from Gul, I believe Gul is a growing Cornish company in the UK. I Bought this at the same time I picked up one of my current surf boards so its a good 3 years old! and I am sure it is still available.

Today I have been made permanent staff at the Aquarium where I work one day a week which was nice! I have been there 1 month now. Here is a photo from today...

NewLook Basic Staple ( curvy women?)

Over the past year I have accumulated an absolute tonne of a specific item of clothing from NewLook. I have around 6 different colours and around 4 of each colour.

Introducing this £4 little Beauty vest top. I absolutly love these, there excellent for layering on the colder days or looking bright on the warmer days. They have an excellent collection of colours, during the summer I fell in love with the lilac, baby blue and corals, at the moment I am enjoying the grey, black and whites.

They are made from 100% cotton and I love to stretch them! This is going to make me sound like a complete crazy lady but, as a size 16-18 I find it difficult to find basic tops that are not made from fabrics that cling. If you are a similar size to me you will understand that 'clingy' tops are an absolute nightmare to wear. We don't want to hi light our lumps and bumps, I personally like to give myself a nicer outline and so around the bottom of these tops whilst they are wet from the washer I shape them, I do stretch them slightly but then I like them to be lovely and fitted around my chest.

Once again, I highly recommend them and thought someone out there may appreciate this post. Here are a couple of shots of the tops.

Redken Request + Extra

I have recently been asked a couple of times to recommend hair products that I use, and love. Over a year ago now my hair fell out and i have managed to rescue my hair and maintained my healthy hair using a brand that I absolutely love, introducing... Redken.

My hair was originally rescued using Redken allsoft, which is in a golden looking bottle, since then I have seen other people recommend other types from the brand and so I purchased.

Over the next few months i will be reviewing Redken for my readers and I think this will be very helpful as sometimes these shampoos aren't the cheapest and so this will help you work out which will be best for you... I hope.

I also picked up a Treatment shampoo from Redken for sensitive scalps that My better half will be testing for me, for people with Eczema or sensitive scalps, he does have quite long hair and so im hoping this will give you again some information as to whether or not it works.

Finally i have time to tell you what i think about the NAKED Pallet from Urban Decay 2010. I have a soft spot for Urban Decay, ever since I purchased the first Book of shadows from Kelanjo in 2008 I think? I had never used any other brand of make-up with such amazing eye-shadow quality. I am fond of MAC cosmetics and cant live without Sudio Fix Fluid, however their price of eye-shadow is steep for myself who only wears eye-shadow a couple of times a month.... I do own 3 MAC pallets of eye-shadow and blush and all have some sort of damage to the content as they don't protect what's inside at all. Waste of money. I love that you can buy 12-16 shadows from Urban Decay for around £25 in gorgeous packaging.... Genius!

Newquay student surf champs

Today I ventured up to the North coast with the Boyfriend and the Brother (in-law i guess) for the final day of the student surf champs, this is my first year in the past 4 that ive not been able to take part as I graduated in September.... The weather was lovely but still kind of freezing in the shade!

Here is what i wore... Again a very beachy casual kelly, I kind of love how me and chris both ended up wearing plaid shirts hehe

So all in all besides some minor work cock ups have had a decent weekend.... hope you all had fun!

I am in love

Besides my silly posing because well, I no longer have half a bald head and plan to photograph my face as much as possible in celebration... The focus of this post is the chain I am wearing... This is yet again a Primark find that I think its just incredible value for money. Costing only £2 this dirty gold tone chain with delicate charms is gorgeous, and can also be worn as a bracelet.

I think some of these charms are so pretty i love the mix of coral and turquoise too... Though I think this dirty gold is much more autumn than summer so this gets the thumbs up from me.

Introducing.... The Winter Coat

For as long as I remember, I have worn some sort of ski jacket from the likes of O'neil, ROXY, Billabong during the winter months along with some variation of flip flops... Yes I wear flip flops 12 months out of the year !

This year im 22 and think its about time I have something to wear too and from work that makes me look more like ( a lady?) is that what im going for here??? I dont know exactly.

I tried on coats everywhere and the fabrics were too heavy, sized too small, and with my large chest they made me look like an absolute beast so I gave up my search.

Until I stumbled across this beaut. Again I know this wont be to everyone's taste but that's me for you... Though id like your opinions... Its light weight, it has a snuggly hood, its extremely soft and best of all it didnt break the bank !

I purchased a scarf to go with my new coat... I know I am so adventurous aren't I.... it looks lovely to be fair... and keeps me warm eeeeeee

As you may have noticed i am starting a fresh with my blog... and it feels good!

So months and months ago i saw these posts kicking around, photographs from where you all blog and i absolutely loved reading them and getting that sneek peak into your worlds and i think this is a good place to begin.

Here is my typical blogging and fiddling around on the internet trying to do work/ be creative and generally do damaging online shopping that leads to me saying things like

'oh it was in storage' or ' oh this old thing? ive had it years!'

So here you go... Please bare in mind i have only just moved really and the apartment is pretty bare! im still trying to get to grips with the rules of communal bedroom hehe ( must avoid pink apparently)

( yes yes i do have a bieber fever sticker on my crap top...shh)

My side of the bed is pretty basic, i always have a book by the bed, im currently reading an Alex Garland book, The Beach... There is some sort of inconvenient (yummy) coffee just before bed time sat on the side every evening and plenty of candles around the room... The ceiling is super high with 3 sky lights so i can lay in bed looking at stars which is pretty sweet!

I love reading through fashion/ textiles blogs at night recently... I am much more interested in fashion and think its more exciting than make up looks ect ( i love being creative with textiles i could blog about my sewing area one day soon if you would like?)

And here i am... in case you had forgotten what i look like :)
