Hello My lovelies, I recently took advantage of a boots 3 for £10 on their Umberto Giannini range and I just have to tell you about these products!

Now this product on twitter, blogger has been hyped up sooooo much that I just had to try it! I believe it retails around £6.99 so is fairly cheap, I don't know why I expected miracles. ( Besides everyone telling me to) This product is Nasty, It is fairly simple to use, and applies wet, which at first was strange then once it dries you no longer have shiny roots like the rest of your hair, you have a matte looking root :s I cant explain its just strange. It feels like you have been wearing hairspray for a couple of days and not washed your hair. It does give you some lift ( kind of) but... I would rather my hair looks nice and clean.

Welcoming your £6.99 ish generic hairspray, no where near as great as Tresemme Freeze Hold. I realise this is slightly a personal opinion but these products, specifically the hair spray has such a strong toxic smell that seems to have been covered up with a nice smell therefore creating a toxic ass smell. I cant bare to spray this anymore, it makes the bedroom stink for ages! It is not worth it guys DO NOT BUY THIS!

Now if product build up is your thing, then here is a serum for you. I have used hair serums since I was around 14, this by far is the worst I have tried and will revert back to my Asda £2.99 bottle, I also LOVE Tony and Guy hair serum. After using this Umberto Giannini for around a week my hair felt awful, I have never washed my hair so much to remove a serum... Takes. Days.
Sorry to write such a negative review but I keep seeing good reviews for these products pop up and I don't want you all to do what I did and go out and by them hoping for miracles.

I tried the Backcomb in a Bottle and it was rubbish on my hair, but then my hair is really long, thick and wavy so I think it's probably too heavy. I tried it on my friend who has fine, short hair and it worked but better, but she said it had no more of an effect than a dry shampoo would. I do however, like UG's Dry Shampoo (but the smell is SOOO strong) and also their Curls Friends Smoothing Balm, which works really well on my hair.x
